Adnams Bitter
Fragrant aromas of finest English hops and malt. Dry but refreshing, with a distinctive lingering hoppiness. Appetising and delicious. Adnams The Bitter is a top ten selling cask beer in the UK.
The Bitter from Adnams is as distinctive as “Southwold Jack” (the knight with the sword) who appears on the pump clip and has gone through many incarnations. Many Adnams beer fans would agree with our Head Brewer that Adnams The Bitter is a truly distinctive pint. We wouldn’t be overselling it to describe it as a classic.
And the people at CAMRA agree with us too, Adnams Bitter was recently crowned Champion Beer of East Anglia.

Adnams Broadside
Broadside's rich flavours make it an instant hit with lovers of premium cask bitter.
I taste almonds, zest and conserved fruit! Mmmmm! I sense a wonderful balance of malt and hop flavours. Broadside is a pint to savour like a fine wine! Gorgeous.
It was voted the “best Strong Bitter” in the country and was duly awarded a gold medal at the Great British Beer Festival. It is now the number one (by volume) premium cask beer in Anglia. So even if the eventual winners of the Battle of Sole Bay are lost in the mists of time, we like to think that Adnams Broadside has won a victory all of its own.
