Our varied menu is as diverse as our customers, from traditional bar snacks and favourites such as freshly made soups, sandwiches, ploughman's or the ever popular cod in broadside batter, to our daily specials such as Sunday roasts, game, rabbit or steak pie, mussels when in season, white bait, venison steaks or a warming bowl of Cullen skink.

All of our ingredients are locally sourced and where possible organic. Our aim is to offer great home made food at a good price.

A medium/hot tomato based curry with your choice of chicken breast or vegetables (v) served with pilau rice, puppadums and mango chutney. £8.50
Homemade Chilli con Carne
Local steak mince cooked slowly with tomato, onion and fresh chillies served with long grain and wild rice, sour cream and nachos. Quorn chilli also available (v). £8.50
Quiche
Quiche Lorraine OR vegetable quiche (v) both homemade with organic local eggs, served with chips and salad. £7.50
Chicken Burger
Free range chicken fillet deep fried in our Broadside batter served in a warm ciabatta bun with Hellman’s mayo, chips and salad. £6.75

WELL BEHAVED CHILDREN ARE WELCOME IF ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT IN THE FAMILY ROOM, THE SNUG AND THE GARDEN BUT ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE MAIN BAR AREA AT ANY TIME.

WE HAVE LIMITED SPACE IN OUR KITCHENS. AS FOOD IS PREPARED FRESH TO ORDER, DURING VERY BUSY PERIODS THERE MAY BE SMALL DELAYS IN RECEIVING FOOD. YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED.
